But if I'm praised for my blog, then I get worried. I started writing my blog for fun. I enjoy writing and I wanted to share what I know about obtaining permissions with authors, especially college profs. When my blog was picked up as a link by a couple of professional organizations, it nonplussed me. Hey, I was writing my blog for fun! On the other hand, the ego stroke is nice...but now I have to earn it. If I’m praised for my work, I’m deeply appreciative but I know I work hard to produce top quality work.
